RN - School Nurse

Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a School RN to work at a Facility in Hemet, CA. These are registry positions with our company. "This is an on-call substitute position for the entire district. The candidate must be comfortable working with students of all grade levels." Pay Rate: $43 / hour Job Responsibilities: Cares for students who are sick or injured Gives medications and checks student health needs Performs health screenings (vision, hearing, etc.) Keeps student health records updated Talks with parents and teachers about health issues Makes health care plans for students with illnesses Teaches students about health and hygiene Checks that students have required immunizations Gives first aid and handles health emergencies Works with doctors and school staff to support student health The requirements are: Must have Registered Nurse License in the State of California. Must hold a School Nurse Services Credential (SNSC) School Nurse Services Credential (SNSC). A valid and current CPR card Experience n ER, Psychiatric, MS or Clinic Proficiency in the English language is necessary for communication with other staff and patients.
