The assignment is based in Pelham, AL, offering a contract position with 4 x 10-hour shifts from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm and a guaranteed 36 hours per week. Key Qualifications and Desired Experience: Current RN license with 2+ years of operating room experience Proven Neuro/Spine OR expertise required BLS and ACLS (AHA) certifications mandatory Familiarity with surgical robotics such as the DaVinci system highly preferred Experience with Maxface and orthopedic procedures is a plus Ability to float within a 25-mile radius of the main campus Comfortable working with Cerner EMR systems Responsibilities: Deliver one-to-one nursing care for surgical patients within the Neuro/Spine specialty Operate in a 24-bed OR unit equipped with advanced surgical tools including robotics Adhere to department policies and maintain professional standards of dress: navy scrubs only, no T-shirts, fleece, or nail polish Collaborate effectively with surgical teams and participate in varied call schedules as assigned Location:Situated near Birmingham, AL, Pelham is a thriving community offering a blend of suburban living and proximity to city amenities.
