To learn more above our agency, please Minimum Qualifications Seven years of experience in developing, managing, or evaluating health or social service programs; or in public health, public relations, social services, health services, health regulation, or administrative services; OR Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus four years of experience in developing, managing, or evaluating health or social service programs; or in public health, public relations, social services, health services, health regulation, or administrative services; OR A bachelor's degree plus four years of experience in developing, managing, or evaluating health or social service programs; or in public health, public relations, social services, health services, health regulation, or administrative services; OR An advanced degree or a Juris Doctorate plus three years of experience in developing, managing, or evaluating health or social service programs; or in public health, public relations, social services, health services, health regulation, or administrative services. EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION: Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field. Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties: As a Program Manager 1-B-LDH, the incumbent will: Serve as the Director of the Quality Department. Develop, implement, and monitor agency-wide quality management for SCLHSA. administer and manage a comprehensive Compliance Program within SCLHSA to assure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and serves as liaison between SCLHSA and various regulatory entities. Lead CARF triannual survey preparations and ongoing readiness. Help strengthen and expand SCLHSA's service delivery system by ensuring new and existing services (including contracted services) are implemented with effective quality oversight, regulatory compliance, and performance monitoring. Position-Specific Details: Location: This position is located at SCLHSA's Administration Office, located in Houma, LA. Appointment Type: Probationary Appointment Compensation: The actual starting salary depends on the education and experience of the selected applicant. Required Qualifications: Ability to obtain a recognized professional certification in healthcare compliance and/or healthcare quality within 12 months of hire (e.g., CHC/CCEP/ and/or CPHQ). Preferred Qualifications: Current certification in healthcare compliance and/or healthcare quality at time of hire (e.g., CHC/CCEP and/or CPHQ). Licensure as a behavioral health professional, such as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Registered Nurse- would be beneficial for this position to ensure the incumbent has an understanding of the clinical impact on persons served, as well as the agency with regards to policies, procedures, licensure, laws, and other regulations. Training or demonstrated competency in performance improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean/Six Sigma, PDSA, process mapping, root cause analysis).
