In this role, you will: - Assess patients across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations, employing standardized evaluations and observational techniques that unveil their needs. - Craft individualized treatment plans tailored to address immediate goals alongside long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing requirements. - Deliver one-on-one speech therapy interventions concentrating on communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing. - Collaborate with a dedicated team of professionals - including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and physicians - to devise cohesive care strategies. - Offer patient and family education to promote progress that continues beyond clinical encounters. - Participate in occasional inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, safeguarding continuity of care throughout the treatment journey. - Maintain punctual, accurate documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational protocols. - Remain engaged with the latest advancements in your field through continuing education and collegial collaboration. To thrive in this vibrant community, we expect: - A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. - Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified. Preferred certifications: - State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. - Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred. - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of employment.
