An opportunity is available for an Interventional Radiology Technologist skilled in imaging techniques at a reputable medical center in North Charleston, SC. This contract position offers Monday through Friday shifts, with rotational call responsibilities on weekdays and weekends, providing a structured yet dynamic work schedule. The role includes floating across all departments within Medical Imaging, broadening your expertise and experience within the field. Responsibilities and Duties: Perform interventional radiology procedures with precision and adherence to safety protocols. Utilize moderate sedation techniques across CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Radiology, and Interventional Radiology departments. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care. Maintain documentation using Meditech systems. Adhere to hospital policies, including dress code requirements (blue scrubs). Participate in rotational call schedules, supporting department needs during off-hours. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Proven experience in Interventional Radiology, with neuro interventional radiology expertise preferred. Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications. Graduate of a NLN-accredited school of nursing or relevant imaging technology program. Flexibility to work various day shifts: 7am-3:30pm, 8am-4:30pm, and until cases are completed during call days.
