Experienced Critical Care Registered Nurses with expertise in pediatric cardiac and trauma care are sought for a travel opportunity in Minneapolis, MN. This role requires a dedicated RN to provide comprehensive care in a pediatric CVICU or PICU setting, supporting surgical and trauma patients through critical phases of treatment. Positions available offer both day and night 12-hour shifts with a full-time equivalent of 0.9 and a schedule that includes every other weekend working. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality nursing care to pre-operative and post-operative pediatric cardiac surgical patients as well as trauma cases. Monitor patient conditions, perform assessments, and implement care plans according to hospital protocols. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintain accurate and detailed patient documentation. Support families through communication and education during patient treatment phases. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Current Minnesota RN licensure. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification. Minimum of two years pediatric cardiac ICU (CVICU) or pediatric ICU (PICU) nursing experience. Competency in caring for pre- and post-operative cardiac surgical patients or trauma patients. Schedule: 12-hour shifts, both day and night. Work every other weekend. Full-time equivalent (0.9 FTE).
