An advanced role for a Radiologic Technologist specializing in Interventional Radiology and Cardiology offers an opportunity to support diagnostic and interventional procedures by expertly operating fluoroscopic imaging equipment, applying sterile techniques, and coordinating procedural workflow. This position demands collaboration with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities: Operate fluoroscopic and radiographic imaging systems for vascular, non-vascular, and cardiac catheterization procedures, maintaining image quality and equipment readiness. Serve as a scrub technologist during interventional procedures by organizing sterile instruments and anticipating physician needs. Function as a primary monitor technologist when assigned, recording hemodynamic data and procedural events accurately. Assist with patient preparation, identification, positioning, and monitoring throughout procedures. Collaborate with nursing and physician staff to manage contrast allergy considerations and ensure safe administration. Maintain procedural area by managing inventory, restocking supplies, performing equipment checks, and supporting room turnover for optimal efficiency. Adhere to radiation safety policies and institutional protocols ensuring a compliant work environment. Qualifications and Experience: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required; BS in Radiologic Science/Medical Imaging preferred. Required licensure includes Oregon State licensure issued by OBMI, ARRT certification, RT(R), current BLS, and ACLS certification (completed within 6 months if not current). Minimum of one year of experience in Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab managing fluoroscopy and scrubbing interventional cases; three years preferred. Certifications such as RCIS or NIH Stroke Scale are advantageous. Proficient in using fixed fluoroscopy equipment, portable ultrasound, and IVUS. Ability to provide culturally and age-specific patient care; bilingual English-Spanish speakers encouraged to apply.
