McLeod Loris is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pediatrician to provide Nursery Call Coverage during the week of Christmas. This is a great opportunity to support a well-established community hospital while ensuring quality care for newborns during the holiday season. Assignment Details Coverage Dates: December 22, 8:00 AM December 29, 8:00 AM Setting: Level I Nursery (approx. 600 deliveries/year) Type of Coverage: Nursery call coverage only (not in-house) Responsibilities: Emergent care and stabilization of ill newborns of any viable gestational age Routine care of healthy newborns Morning rounding, admissions, progress notes, discharges Be available for emergencies and provider questions Support: No APP support available the week of Christmas Transfers: Unstable babies transferred to McLeod Regional Medical Center (Florence Perinatal Center) or MUSC Charleston for advanced/cardiac care Qualifications Board Certified / Board Eligible in Pediatrics Active South Carolina Medical License Active SC Controlled Substance Registration (CSR) Active DEA (must remain permanently registered in SC) This assignment offers the chance to step into a focused call-only role where your expertise will directly impact newborn care in the community.aa415a4b-8b21-40fc-a65c-70d2b25ca29a
