Job Description Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist in Charge experience required. An established compounding pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to lead operations and regulatory compliance at their facility in Albany, Ohio. This direct-hire opportunity offers an option for temp-to-perm status, ideal for candidates considering relocation, with relocation assistance available. Key Responsibilities: Serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge for Ohio and additional non-resident state licenses as required Ensure full compliance with FDA, DEA, State Boards of Pharmacy, and Section 503B regulations Lead and represent the facility during Board of Pharmacy, FDA, and DEA inspections and regulatory meetings Develop, review, and maintain SOPs, training programs, and oversee regulatory reporting, recalls, and quality investigations Manage Quality Assurance and Control functions, including batch reviews, investigations, environmental monitoring, and validation activities Implement and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) and approve change controls, labeling, and annual product reviews Oversee vendor qualification, incoming materials, reserve samples, and present quality metrics to leadership Qualifications and Experience: Active Ohio Pharmacist license in good standing; multi-state licensure preferred Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy (BS) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) Minimum 5 years in leadership positions managing teams Strong knowledge of cGMP, FDA/DEA regulations, sterile injectable manufacturing, and non-sterile compounding Proven track record leading inspections and regulatory audits Excellent communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Preferred: 10+ years in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industries and 7+ years in quality or compliance roles with increasing responsibility Schedule: Monday through Friday, onsite in Albany, Ohio Benefits: Competitive salary with full healthcare package including dental and flexible spending accounts 401(k) with company contributions Company-paid life and disability insurance Generous paid time off increasing with tenure Tuition reimbursement and strong growth opportunities This is a pivotal role offering long-term professional growth in a robust regulatory environment. xuwmhxw Candidates with strong leadership and regulatory expertise are encouraged to apply promptly.
