Manages supplier engagement, qualification, and pre-award documentation while ensuring adherence to contractual, regulatory, and business development requirements.Operates independently within assigned sourcing scope; impact extends to program cost, schedule, and compliance outcomes.Job Responsibilities Develop sourcing strategies based on cost, quality, and compliance considerations for assigned commodities. Identify and engage suppliers supporting both production and aging platforms. Draft and negotiate supplier agreements, including SOWs, BOAs, and T&Cs aligned with FAR/DFARS flow-downs. Conduct pre-award supplier assessments and risk analyses ensuring supply base readiness. Collaborate with Contracts, Legal, and Quality to validate export control and cybersecurity compliance. Provide sourcing cost models and inputs to capture, proposal, and pricing teams to support competitive bid preparation. Contribute to supplier performance monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives. Other projects and initiatives as assigned. Qualifications Education: One year of related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if a degree is required. BS/BA Degree Experience: Must have 3+ years of professional experience relating to sourcing (preferably in the Aerospace and Defense industry). Must have working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), contract law, purchasing policies and procedures, basic software worksheet technologies, and the ability to meet with, work with, and brief senior management personnel. Ability to interpret, negotiate, and apply sourcing documentation in compliance with company policy. Strong interpersonal communication and analytical problem-solving skills. Skills & Technology Used: Good problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills/techniques, strong communicator, possesses analytical and interpersonal skills. Functionally skilled in Microsoft Office products, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint.
