Job Description

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for a contract position within a school setting located in Bradenton, FL. This assignment requires on-site presence and supports early childhood special education (ESE) programs across two elementary schools with diverse student needs. Key Responsibilities: Provide specialized speech-language services to preschool-age children within ESE, intensive ESE, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) units, and integrated preschool classrooms. Collaborate with educators and support staff to design and implement individualized treatment plans. Conduct assessments, monitor progress, and maintain detailed documentation meeting professional standards. Engage with students' families to support communication development and generalization outside of the school environment. Qualifications and Experience: Active Florida SLP license is required (Master's degree preferred; Bachelor's considered but Master's required for final placement). Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome to apply. Experience working with preschool-aged children in educational settings is highly desirable. Ability to manage caseloads spanning multiple specialized programs including ESE and ASD. Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with educational professionals.
