Job Details Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,130 - $2,250 per week Location: Brunswick, Maine (04011) — Brunswick, ME healthcare jobs Setting: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) — critical care nurse role Employment Type: Travel Contract / Travel RN Start Date: March 22, 2026 End Date: June 20, 2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM (12-hour nights) — night shift RN Hours per Week: 36 (weekly guarantee) Unit Size: 11 beds Patient Ratios: 2-3:1, depending on acuity EMR: Epic (experience with Epic EMR preferred) Job Requirements (Qualifications) Active and unencumbered RN license (Maine or compact state) BLS and ACLS certifications required At least 1 year of recent ICU experience preferred — ICU RN / critical care RN experience Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and variable weekends Strong clinical skills and ability to care for mixed-acuity adult patients Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking abilities CCRN or other critical care certification a plus; experience with ventilators and hemodynamic monitoring preferred Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill adults in an 11-bed ICU Monitor, assess, and document patient status and progress using Epic EMR Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed, including titration of drips per protocol Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists) to develop and implement individualized care plans Respond to emergencies and provide life-saving interventions as needed — fast, competent critical care response Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and discharge instructions Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for patients and staff Experience the best of Maine while advancing your nursing career in a friendly, professional setting.
