Manager, Enterprise Applications - Tech Operations (SAP S/4HANA) Job Overview We are excited to invite applications for the position of SAP S/4HANA Solution and Functional Manager. In this key role, you will lead our digital transformation efforts across vital Technical Operations and Supply Chain processes. Your focus will be on enabling the smooth, compliant, and integrated management of our essential business processes—from Production to Delivery, Intercompany, Logistics, to Integration scenarios that impact our customers and patients. The ideal candidate will have the expertise to design, configure, integrate, and validate SAP S/4HANA solutions while ensuring compliance with global pharmaceutical GxP regulations and other requirements. This is your opportunity to significantly influence our operational efficiency and readiness for audits. Key Responsibilities Leadership in Production-to-Delivery: Own the analysis, design, configuration, and implementation of SAP S/4HANA across the value chain, focusing on: Order-to-Shipment (SD/LE): Oversee Sales Order processing, intercompany transactions, delivery processing, Billing, and Invoicing. Logistics Execution (LE): Manage Shipment planning, transportation, and trade compliance. Production Planning (PP): Integrate Production Orders with material planning and execution. Extended Warehouse Management (EWM): Handle inventory and warehouse operations related to finished goods and raw materials. Module Configuration: Configure and customize SAP S/4HANA modules (SD, LE, PP, EWM) to match complex pharmaceutical processes. Functional Design: Develop detailed functional designs and specifications for enhancements and complex business scenarios. Enterprise Integration Management: Design and maintain integrations between SAP S/4HANA and external systems like Salesforce, ensuring accurate data flow for customer orders and financial reconciliation. Compliance and Validation: Lead validation activities, ensuring all configurations and custom code adhere to GxP standards and regulatory requirements while actively participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Management Support: Drive project timelines and budgets for S/4HANA rollouts, providing critical Tier 2/3 operational support and developing training for end-users on SAP functionalities. Core Competencies Expertise in managing core processes within SAP S/4HANA in the enterprise context. Comprehensive understanding of pharmaceutical GxP and regulatory compliance requirements. Required Experience & Skills 4+ years in ERP systems implementation and configuration. Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA with in-depth knowledge of SD, LE, PP, and EWM modules. Experience in the Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industry with a focus on GxP and validation. Strong background in system integration design and implementation. Demonstrated leadership abilities to manage functional and technical teams throughout project life cycles. Exceptional analytical and communication skills. Preferred Skills Experience with Salesforce or other CRM integrations. Familiarity with Cell and Gene Therapy Operations. SAP S/4HANA certification. Experience with Agile methodologies and SAP Business Technology Platform. Cloud experience relevant to SAP hosting. The base salary range for this role is $125,600 to $157,000.
