As a Senior Analyst in Compliance Transaction Monitoring Services within the CX Compliance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our global CX Compliance Operations run smoothly, adhere to regulatory requirements, and consistently deliver top-quality resolutions. You will conduct thorough end-to-end Transaction Monitoring investigations for customers (both individuals and entities), which may lead to drafting and filing a Suspicious Activity Report (SAR). Collaborating extensively with leaders across the Financial Crime Risk Service line, you will maintain exemplary standards of production and quality. This role requires independent work, the ability to prioritize diverse tasks with minimal guidance, and a receptiveness to feedback from all levels to enhance compliance processes. Key Responsibilities: Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in financial services, crypto, investigations, legal, or technology sectors, specifically focusing on Transaction Monitoring Services, compliance, or regulatory matters. At least 3 years of experience in drafting and filing SAR narratives. Conduct investigative reviews and analyses to support BSA/AML regulatory compliance policies which include investigating automated alerts from transaction monitoring systems, and referrals from law enforcement and other company departments. Analyze transaction activities and KYC information, performing due diligence research for investigations, and interpret evidence from external tools to assess customer behavior across various products. Document investigations through written narratives. Determine if the activity needs to be escalated for further review and recommend whether it is suspicious enough to warrant filing a SAR. Incorporate feedback received from the Quality Assurance Team. Maintain comprehensive documentation to ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies and procedures. Stay updated with industry standards and developments concerning KYC, BSA/AML, and OFAC, applying regulatory requirements and internal policies during investigations. Review data and adopt Coinbase procedures to conduct investigations, making decisions and documenting transaction monitoring alerts. Who You Are: Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills (both verbal and written). Proficient in using Google Sheets, Google Docs, Excel, and Word. Flexible and adaptable to the ever-evolving demands of a high-growth and fast-paced environment. Available to support in a 24/7 work environment. Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail. Additional Qualifications: Professional certification in AML or Fraud (e.g., CAMS, CFCS, CFE) is preferred. Experience in project management, analytics, or vendor management is beneficial. An advanced degree in business, finance, or customer experience (CX) is an advantage. Familiarity with tools such as Google apps, JIRA, Hummingbird, and Salesforce Service Cloud. Experience working with external outsourcing business partners is a plus.
