Locum Emergency Medicine Physician Seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician to provide coverage across Berkshire Medical Center and North Adams Hospital. The greatest need is for morning and night shift coverage, with priority given to providers with strong availability and Massachusetts licensure. Practice Details Trauma Level III facility 32-bed Emergency Department Annual ED volume of approximately 55,000 patients EMR: Meditech APP coverage available Approximately 30% admission rate Admissions managed by hospitalist or admitting service ED physicians are not responsible for codes EMS/paramedic radio oversight required OB patients are directed to Labor & Delivery Schedule Multiple shift options available including 8-hour, 11-hour, and 12-hour shifts 30-minute response time required for on-call physicians Requirements ABEM Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) Active Massachusetts medical license preferred BLS, ACLS, and ATLS certifications required Clean background for expedited credentialing Providers must be local (no air travel permitted) Availability required at time of name clear NPDB self-query report dated within 30 days of presentation Additional Details Temporary privileges available Hotel accommodations provided Estimated credentialing timeframe is expedited with clean file
