Engage collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including physical and occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, caregivers, and families to develop integrated care strategies. Provide education and resources to patients and families to facilitate growth beyond clinical settings. Participate in occasional inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless care throughout the patient's therapeutic journey. Maintain precise and timely documentation according to organizational, state, and federal regulations. Stay abreast of the latest developments in the field through ongoing education and collaboration with peers. Education Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. A completed supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification has not yet been obtained. Certifications State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification necessary within 30 days of employment. Skills Expertise in evidence-based therapy approaches applicable to a broad range of ages, with a deep understanding of both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing challenges. Exceptional ability to communicate effectively with patients, their families, and interdisciplinary care teams. Keen adaptability to modify therapy techniques to cater to varied cultural and linguistic requirements. Strong critical thinking skills and clinical judgment that inform effective problem-solving. Proficient in electronic medical records and consistent with documentation standards. Benefits Attractive compensation tailored to experience levels. Flexible work schedules that promote a healthy work-life balance and accommodate diverse caseloads. Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance options. Support for continuing education and professional development initiatives. A collaborative, team-oriented atmosphere emphasizing quality care and ongoing learning. A Career That Inspires and Transforms In this position, you will be more than just a Speech Language Pathologist - you will be a vital part of a mission dedicated to rekindling voices, fostering communication, and creating joyful moments through the simplest gestures of human connection: listening and sharing understanding. Immerse yourself in a culture where colleagues support each other like family, in an environment that champions unity over competition. Every individual has a unique story; we will rely on you to guide how their stories unfold. Why You Will Adore Living and Working Here Lincoln, Nebraska offers a delightful blend of urban sophistication and small-town charm, wrapped in a strong sense of community that inspires creativity and innovation. The city is a vibrant hub surrounded by picturesque landscapes, providing ample opportunity for nature lovers and cultural enthusiasts alike. Ideal Candidate Profile We are looking for a Speech Language Pathologist who is not just focused on clinical results but also driven by a genuine passion for helping others. A professional who can see a timid child and dream of a future filled with self-expression, who can hear the hesitant speech of a stroke survivor and perceive resilience and hope. You may be a pediatric expert seeking to incorporate adult care into your skill set, or a neuro-focused therapist ready to delve into early intervention strategies. If you are poised to serve with heart and guide with expertise, we are thrilled to invite you to our team. Let's Create Impactful Communication Together If you understand that speech is more than mere words, and that therapy encompasses much more than assignments - if you believe in building trust before setting goals and nurture laughter as much as language - then this could be the inspirational next chapter of your career. Join us to foster a vibrant community that celebrates communication, connection, and the courage it takes to start anew. Apply today and lend your voice to our mission - empowering others to discover theirs.
