Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in trailer components, is seeking a dedicated Powder Coating Technician to join their production team. As a Powder Coating Technician, you will be an essential part of the manufacturing process, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet safety and durability standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach to safety and quality assurance, aligning well with the organization's commitment to excellence and continuous improvement. Job Title: Powder Coating Technician Location: Bristol, IN Pay Range: Starting at $18.50 per hour, increasing to $21.00 per hour after hire-in period Shift: 4:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday - Thursday What's the Job? Apply powder coating to metal components using spray guns, booths, or automated systems to ensure a smooth, durable finish. Prepare and clean surfaces prior to coating to promote adhesion and quality. Monitor equipment during the coating process to maintain proper coating thickness, color, and finish quality. Inspect coated parts for defects and perform rework as necessary to meet quality standards. Operate and maintain powder coating equipment safely, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures. What's Needed? Minimum of 1 year of hands-on powder coating experience in an industrial setting. High School Diploma or GED preferred. Ability to operate powder coating booths, spray guns, and related equipment effectively. Understanding of safety practices in a manufacturing environment, including proper PPE usage. English language skills required; bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus but not mandatory. What's in it for me?
