Job Summary In this crucial role, you will lead proactive cybersecurity efforts to protect and strengthen client systems against evolving threats and vulnerabilities. The SODO is responsible for assessing risk, implementing security controls, and ensuring continuous monitoring and improvement of cybersecurity posture across environments. Due to the nature of our work as a federal consulting organization, employees may be expected to handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and must adhere to applicable safeguarding and compliance requirements. Responsibilities Ensure the timely and effective use of Air Tasking Order (ATO) assigned assets. Responsible for monitoring assets, and how assess deviations affect the ATO, and make necessary adjustments while coordinating with all affected agencies. Function as the Operational Expertise Act expert and go-to on doctrinal processes for all positions under the SODO, including CASDO, INTDO, BDO, CSAR, TST, and EW/SEAD. Provide expertise on capability degradation, tactics, and threat areas. Function as the Exercise Execution Replicate on one or multiple AOC positions as required during exercises. Tasked to perform the duties of the Chief of Combat Ops (CCO), coordinating with the Joint Exercise Control Group (JECG) to ensure training objectives are met. Function as the liaison and attend planning conferences as the AOC representative and may be tasked as a Liaison Officer (LNO) at forward exercise locations.
