We are seeking a dedicated Locum Physician specializing in Maternal Fetal Medicine to support high-risk pregnancies and contribute to compassionate, innovative patient care. Required Skills: Board Certification or eligibility in Maternal Fetal Medicine or Obstetrics and Gynecology with subspecialty training Proficiency in procedures such as amniocentesis, chorionic Villus Sampling, and cerclage Strong clinical judgment in managing high-risk pregnancies (95% of practice) Experience with prenatal diagnostics, genetic disorders, and fetal anomalies Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work within a multidisciplinary team Familiarity with EMR systems such as EPIC and Viewpoint Nice to Have Skills: Experience supervising or collaborating with APPs Additional training in fetal ultrasound or maternal-fetal medicine subspecialties Prior staffing experience in similar clinical settings or hospitals Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree from an accredited institution Active medical license in Virginia or eligibility for licensure Minimum of 2 years of maternal-fetal medicine practice or equivalent experience Previous locum tenens experience is advantageous but not required Other Requirements: Credentialing expected to complete within approximately 90 days Ability to provide coverage on specific dates, including 05/08-05/15, 05/16-05/22, and 05/26-05/31 Willingness to travel, with facility reimbursements available for flights, hotels, rental cars, and mileage at IRS standard rates Certification in BLS/ACLS as applicable Compliance with all applicable healthcare regulations and facility policies This role offers competitive hourly pay, a dedicated support team, and comprehensive benefits designed to support your success.
