Meucci pool cues have a world-renowned reputation for their beauty, craftsmanship, quality, and playability.With new management in place, Meucci is set for new growth and exciting opportunitiesOur work environment includes:Team atmosphereContinuous improvementEntrepreneurial energyCome join a great team as we take this world-class brand to new heights.The Role: Production Manager - We're looking for someone passionate about leadership, operational excellence, and helping drive efficiency, safety, growth, and profitability.Responsibilities:Leadership and Team ManagementProvide strong leadership, organization, and support of production teams (30+ staff)Engage with team leaders to ensure smooth production.Communicate clearly with internal teams, vendors, and leadership in English and Spanish.Production Planning and ExecutionOversee daily operations across teams, ensuring orders are completed on time, safely, and to quality standards.Create, manage, and adjust daily and weekly production schedules to meet production timelines.Coordinate labor resources efficiently to balance workloads, maximize productivity, and ensure continuous flow.Understand & manage the end-to-end production processLeverage Lean manufacturing principles to drive continuous improvement.Safety, Compliance, and StandardsChampion a culture of safety and ensure full compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies.Conduct regular safety inspections, address hazards promptly, and monitor adherence to environmental, health, and safety standards.Maintain accurate hazmat documentation and oversee the safe handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials.Equipment and Facility ManagementOversee the safe operation, maintenance, and preventive care of specialized shop equipment, including Lathes, CNC machines, and other machinery.Ensure equipment operates efficiently and according to all safety standards.Administrative and ReportingTrack key performance indicators (KPI) to measure and improve operational success. Maintain accurate records of labor hours, maintenance, and safety incidents.Discuss performance metrics with leadership and recommend process improvements.Required Qualifications:At least 5 years of leadership experience in manufacturing, custom production, or a related industry.Spanish fluencyStrong leadership skills with a track record of inspiring, guiding, and managing diverse teams.Demonstrated ability to achieve measurable improvements in operational efficiency, workplace safety, product quality, and profitability.Highly organized with strong time management, prioritization, and multitasking skills.Experience with hazardous material documentation, handling procedures, and regulatory compliance.Knowledge of local workplace safety, health, and environmental regulations.Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality standards.Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Physically able to sit or stand for extended periods as needed.Must be onsite at 3709 Hwy 302, Byhalia, MS, 38611Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles; Lean certification preferred but not required.What we hope you will gain from this position:Satisfaction from helping build a world-class brandLearn new skillsDevelop craftsmanship working at the intersection of artistic beauty and industrial workmanshipOpportunities to growBenefits:This position does not currently provide health insurance benefits Paid time off Performance Bonuses401KJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $60,000 - $80,000 DOESchedule:Monday to FridayNo nightsNo weekendsSupplemental pay types:Bonus payWork Location: In personByhalia, MS
