As a member of the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure team, you'll help develop and manage large-scale, integrated cloud services in a distributed, multi-tenant environment. This position specifically involves working with the Oracle Cloud Marketplace team, where we strive to create innovative services for the Marketplace. Our ambition is to make the Marketplace the leading platform for purchasing enterprise software on OCI and drive substantial revenue growth. We are expanding the Marketplace platform by adding new features to meet diverse partner and customer needs. This role is based onsite in Nashville, TN (priority location, 5 days a week) or Austin, TX (secondary location). Relocation assistance is available. Please note that this is not a remote position. Responsibilities As a Senior Software Engineer on the Marketplace team, you will lead critical development initiatives. Collaborate with a talented group of software engineers to design and implement a central technology platform for our cloud's software offerings. Your work will streamline the purchase process for pre-configured software installations across multiple platforms, tackling challenges related to backend distributed services, e-commerce transactions, and user-facing web applications. This position is perfect for someone with full-stack development experience who is eager to thrive in a vibrant, startup-like environment. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of software development experience. Proficient in Java and/or GoLang, Python, with strong skills in algorithm design, object-oriented design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis. Solid knowledge of JavaScript, Web UIs, HTTP, and Terraform. Proven experience designing, launching, and maintaining distributed systems at scale. Preferred Qualifications: Experience building distributed cloud services. Familiarity with virtualization and orchestration technologies. Experience designing intuitive web UIs. Salary and Benefits Information: The hiring range for this position in the US is from $79,200 to $178,100 per annum. You may also be eligible for bonuses and equity.
