Key Responsibilities: Overseeing teams engaged in a variety of transportation projects, including but not limited to roadway design, traffic operations, bridge design, transportation planning, and environmental assessments. Managing the creation of engineering reports, plans, and specifications across various projects. Reviewing preliminary and final plans, technical specifications, contract documents, and estimates, and providing recommendations for necessary modifications. Participating in contract bidding and administration when required. Supervising and monitoring project design and progress, collaborating with City, State, and County officials, as well as other agencies. Guiding junior engineers and technical support staff. Coordinating project efforts with clients, contractors, outside consultants, and internal team members. Effectively communicating with project team members, client representatives, review agencies, and other involved parties. Resolving complex challenges, such as conflicting design requirements and intricate coordination issues. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology. 10+ years of experience in the transportation sector. Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification is essential. Proven expertise with relevant software systems, including HCS, SYNCHRO, SIDRA, CORSIM, VISSIM, CUBE, TransCAD, MicroStation, and Microsoft Office.
