A prestigious and fast-paced venture capital firm in Menlo Park, CA is seeking a highly capable Executive Assistant to provide support to Partners. This role requires exceptional organizational skills and the ability to excel in a demanding, fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include managing complex schedules, coordinating extensive travel itineraries, processing expenses, preparing correspondence, and serving as vital right-hand support and gatekeeper. This is an onsite role with an in-office schedule (8:00 AM 6:00 PM) and ability to work overtime. Key Responsibilities: Manage highly complex, fast-moving calendars for up to three Partners and proactively anticipate their needs to minimize scheduling conflicts Coordinate extensive domestic and international travel, including last-minute changes and detailed itineraries Serve as a gatekeeper and primary point of contact, ensuring timely communication and immediate responsiveness Prepare and edit correspondence, presentations, and confidential documents with the highest degree of accuracy Facilitate logistics for meetings, events, and special projects, collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion at all times, supporting high-profile and demanding executives Be available for extended hours and remote responsiveness as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a professional demeanor Qualifications: 5-10 years of Executive Assistant experience supporting C-suite or senior executives, preferably within finance or similarly fast-paced, high-pressure environments Bachelors degree required Proven ability to quickly adapt and take initiative in a complex and demanding setting Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills High emotional intelligence with the ability to work with direct and particular executives Ability to maintain composure and professionalism under pressure Comfortable with a full-time, in-office schedule (8:00 AM 6:00 PM) with flexibility for occasional extended hours and remote availability Compensation & Benefits: Competitive salary: $130,000 $150,000, Depending on experience Performance bonuses and comprehensive benefits package Opportunity to work within an elite, well-respected leadership team You can use WorkGrades to collect and manage your references for free and share them with us or anyone else you choose by visiting workgrades.com/home/candidate.
