Travel Consultant / Reservation Agent (Tour Operator Europe Specialists) Location: Woodland Hills, California In-Person Position Job Type: Full-Time About Petrabax Petrabax is a leading wholesale tour operator specializing in Spain, Portugal, and Morocco, with nearly 40 years of experience creating high-quality custom travel experiences and escorted tours for retail travel agencies across the U.S. We are seeking motivated, sales-driven Travel Consultants / Reservation Agents who are passionate about travel, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy building strong relationships with travel advisors. What You'll Do Consult with retail travel agents to design tailored itineraries and travel solutions Sell and manage escorted tour programs in addition to customized FIT itineraries Prepare detailed quotes and proactively upsell value-added services Respond efficiently to inquiries via phone and email to help close sales Troubleshoot itinerary challenges and offer creative solutions Promote and cross-sell Petrabax products, including escorted tours and specialty programs Maintain accurate bookings and customer records Collaborate with a team focused on service excellence and growth What We're Looking For Required: Experience in the travel industry (tour operator, agency, reservations, or sales) Bilingual English & Spanish Spanish fluency is mandatory Strong customer service and sales mindset Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to multitask and meet deadlines Proficiency with Microsoft Office & email systems Preferred (Plus): Knowledge of Spain, Portugal, and/or Morocco Experience using Amadeus or similar GDS Degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or related field Portuguese language skills What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Paid vacation time Industry training & familiarization opportunities Performance-based bonuses Long-term career growth with an established tour operator
