Learn more about CBW at Position Summary:This Janitorial/Facilities Technician is responsible for the building and grounds overall appearance and cleanliness in the Freezer and Cooler.Schedule: Sunday through Thursday starting at 10:00 AM.Pay: $18.50/hourResponsibilities Include, but are not limited to: Withstanding constant temperatures from 32°F to -10°FWork with the housekeeping team to ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and tidiness in all areas of the facilityClean warehouse floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or with floor scrubbing machineryGather and empty trashContinuously seek and make improvements to overall housekeeping functions of the facility Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbishPerforming light routine maintenance activities, notifying management of need for repairsClean, dust and remove cob webs from, walls, machines, and equipmentDrive vehicles required to perform work, such as Reach trucks, Pallet riders, Stock picker and Scissor liftFollow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipmentMove heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucksSetting up and staging critical supplies for use by the operations teamCollect and process damages and lose product from the facility Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systemsRemove snow from sidewalks, driveways, and parking areas, using snowplows, snow blowers, and snow shovels, and spread snow melting chemicalsRequisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance dutiesSet up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders, and scaffolding to prepare facilities for events such as banquets and meetingsClean and dry delivery totes, using totes washer and power washers.Inspect and clean Cooler boxesResponsible for meeting and assisting returning CBW drivers in check-in processPaintingOther duties as assigned by Manager Qualifications: Freezer warehousing experience.High School degree, diploma or a GED equivalent qualification from a certified college.All duties must be performed satisfactorily and independentlyMust execute good work habits including safety proceduresExcellent attendance and safety recordMust have the ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and safety instructions and proceduresMust possess the ability to speak effectively with co-workers, outside vendors, & managementMust be able to apply common sense and carry out written and verbal instructionsMust have strong interpersonal and communication skillsMust possess general knowledge of hand tools Benefits: Complete medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and accident insurances starting the first of the month following 60-days of employment. 401(k) after 6 months with 2% employer match.Paid Time Off (PTO); starting at 80 hours your first year.Paid HolidaysEmployee Assistance Program (EAP) and other mental health benefits available!Ability to purchase products from the warehouse at wholesale price.
