This role involves operating a specialized flatbed truck for sodium hypochlorite delivery, manually filling chlorine tanks, following D.O.T., environmental, and safety regulations, and supporting pool service technicians with pool openings, closings, and maintenance. This is a hands-on position and not strictly a driving role. Transport & Safety Operate flatbed trucks for sodium hypochlorite delivery Deliver pool chemicals to commercial properties such as aquatic facilities, apartments, hotels, YMCAs, and universities Adhere to D.O.T., environmental, and Hazmat regulations Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and safety checks Safely load, transport, and offload chemicals Customer Service & Field Support Communicate professionally with customers regarding deliveries and safety procedures Identify and report equipment issues or safety concerns Assist pool service technicians with pool operations Documentation & Compliance Complete delivery logs, manifests, and Hazmat documentation Ensure paperwork complies with company and regulatory requirements Report incidents or discrepancies promptly Required Qualifications Valid Class B CDL Hazmat endorsement or ability to obtain Knowledge of D.O.T. and Hazmat regulations Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and perform manual labor Strong safety focus and attention to detail Excellent driving record and reliable attendance Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of CDL driving experience Experience transporting hazardous liquids Pool service, chemical, or water treatment experience Benefits This is a local, daytime position with no overnight or out-of-state travel.
