Full Time Class A Truck Driver ADM Trucking, Inc. Mendota, IL Full Time truck driver - nights, weekends, and holidays will be required in order to ensure timely deliveries to our customers. Job Summary The Class A Truck Driver must be able to plan trips (breaks, fuel stops, customer appointments, weather, traffic & construction, city and rural driving conditions) and manage unforeseen circumstances. Equipment includes but is not limited to semi truck, tank trailers, dry van, pneumatic, hopper, intermodal, and flat beds. Driver will be responsible for safely and efficiently loading and unloading product according to company and customer instructions. Weekly mileages can and do fluctuate. Must be able to obtain a Hazardous Materials endorsement within 60 days of hire. ADM Trucking, Inc. is a food grade transportation company. Essential Job Functions The individual is required to follow all government, company & customer policies and regulations. This includes but is not limited to FMCSA, OSHA, EPA, DOL & Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Preferred Candidate Qualifications Must be 24 years of age or older Two years of verifiable OTR or local tractor trailer experience required in the last seven years Commercial License REQUIRED Class A CDL with Tank endorsement must be able to obtain Haz Mat endorsement within 60 days Commitment to ADM's goal of achieving a zero injury culture; understand and follow company safety procedures Exhibit regular and prompt attendance No more than one chargeable accident within the last three years No more than one moving violation ticket in the last three years No convictions of D.U.I., D.U.S., or open container in the last 7 years No positive controlled substance/alcohol tests from a prior employer Any candidate not possessing these requirements is subject to management approval prior to employment DOT physical, drug screen, and skills testing are required for this position.
