Warehouse Associate

Warehouse Worker - Forklift Join our dynamic warehouse team at our East Moline location, specializing in container management and racking systems. This role involves working with containers and racks that previously housed parts, ensuring they are cleaned and processed efficiently. The position involves both forklift operation and general warehouse duties such as washing, sorting, staging, and scanning totes. Responsibilities: Operate a forklift to load and unload trucks, ensuring correct containers are shipped according to paperwork. Work in the washing area, managing plastics totes by loading, unloading, sorting, staging, and scanning them. Stand and work in process lanes (inbound), removing manufacturer tags from containers and racks. Utilize a hand-scanner to process incoming totes and racks. Repair large plastic containers ranging from 2x2 to 8x8, using hand drills and screwdrivers. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols. Essential Skills: 6 months of recent labor or forklift experience. Ability to pass a forklift test, including driving forward and backward through cones and lifting pallets. Capability to lift 50 lbs. Willingness to work 10 hours of overtime and on Saturdays. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Experience with production, loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving is beneficial. Why Work Here? Work Environment: Work primarily at the East Moline location with a focus on container management. The role requires standing for the entire shift with regular breaks, and involves a lot of bending without heavy lifting. The job includes shifts from 6:00am to 2:00pm or 11:00am to 7:00pm. The dress code is casual and suitable for a warehouse setting. Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Moline, IL. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
