Job Description

IT Business Systems Analyst The IT Business Systems Analyst supports the PMO, Organizational Change Management (OCM), and Performance Management functions within the technology organization. This role is responsible for executing and coordinating portfolio reporting, governance tracking, and performance metrics processes under the direction of leadership. The Analyst will provide structured analysis, reporting support, and cross-team coordination to ensure visibility and consistency across initiatives. This position supports leadership in executing established roadmaps and governance processes and does not own strategy or portfolio direction. Key Responsibilities Maintain portfolio tracking tools, status reports, and documentation Consolidate updates from project managers into standardized reporting formats Track risks, issues, dependencies, and action items Support preparation of governance and leadership meeting materials Ensure timely follow-up on assigned action items and deliverables Maintain portfolio data accuracy and consistency Performance Metrics & Reporting Support tracking and reporting of defined KPIs and performance measures Maintain dashboards and reporting templates Analyze trends and summarize insights for leadership review Assist in improving reporting processes and data quality Organizational Change Support Assist in stakeholder tracking and impact documentation Support communications and training coordination activities Track change-related action items and adoption measures Provide documentation and reporting support for change initiatives Required Qualifications 710 years of experience in business analysis, PMO support, program coordination, or operational reporting Experience working within IT or technology-focused organizations Strong analytical and documentation skills Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Ability to synthesize information into clear and structured summaries Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work cross-functionally and follow through on deliverables Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting a PMO or portfolio management function Familiarity with Jira or similar project tracking tools Exposure to Organizational Change Management (OCM) practices Experience preparing materials for leadership meetings Key Competencies Highly organized and execution-focused Detail-oriented with strong follow-through Proactive in identifying gaps in information Clear and concise communicator Comfortable working in a structured, process-driven environment Who This Is A strong PMO or portfolio analyst who thrives on structure and organization Someone who enjoys consolidating information and creating clarity from multiple inputs An execution-focused professional who is comfortable operating behind the scenes to support leadership An analyst who can turn messy project updates into clean, executive-ready summaries A proactive coordinator who follows up, tracks details, and ensures nothing falls through the cracks Comfortable working in an IT or technology-driven environment Skilled in Excel and PowerPoint and confident preparing leadership materials Who This Is Not Not a strategy owner or roadmap setter Not a senior portfolio director or transformation lead Not a pure requirements-gathering application BA Not a project manager who expects to run projects independently Not a communications-only change management specialist Not someone looking for full decision-making authority over governance or portfolio direction
