Experienced Mortgage Loan Processor Reliance First Capital, a dynamic and leading mortgage banker, is seeking an EXPERIENCED MORTGAGE LOAN PROCESSOR to join our organization. Position Overview The Loan Processor will work in support of and in conjunction with the Sales and Underwriting staff, acting as a liaison to ensure accurate and compliant documents are processed from loan submission through the funding process. Essential Job Functions Verify data entry of application in LOS against submitted documentation Verify income and assets documentation are complete and compliant to established guidelines Run AUS (DO, DU or LP) Request third party stips as required Order FHA case number, CAIVRS, LDP/GSA searches through FHA Connection Order flood cert Order title/tax cert/survey Order payoff, pay histories, VOR/VOM as needed Order subordination of mortgage as needed Verify income docs, recalculate income to confirm figures are correct Review appraisal against title for accuracy of property description Review title. Work with the title officer to clear judgments/liens Verify real estate taxes are paid to date. Update aggregate escrows for both taxes and insurance Verify hazard insurance is paid in full and adequately covers the loan amount Work with post closing department to resolve any funding issues Requirements Strong knowledge of DU/LP Knowledge of government programs: conforming, FHA, Fannie Mae, VA Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Strong analytical skills, detail oriented Customer service oriented Confidential and reliable Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite to include Word and Excel Identify and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner Ability to learn and adapt quickly to system updates We offer Competitive salary PLUS monthly bonus Medical, dental, and vision insurance Company paid life insurance Paid vacation, and holidays We are an Equal Opportunity Employer
