Quality Assurance Engineer/TesterLocation US-SC-North CharlestonID 2026-10958Category Test EngineeringPosition Type Regular Full-TimeApplication Open Date 2/20/2026DescriptionScientific Research Corporation (SRC) is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Engineer / Tester to support multiple Department of War (DoW) projects. As part of the Cloud Service Integration Team (CSIT), this role is essential to ensuring the quality, functionality, and performance of mission-critical applications for DoW clients. The Quality Assurance Engineer/Tester will bring expertise in testing methodologies, automation tools, and defect tracking systems, and will play a key role in maintaining the reliability and integrity of secure cloud-based solutions. Job Duties: Developing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases for SaaS platforms Applying testing methodologies to validate functionality, performance, and security Utilizing test automation tools and frameworks to streamline regression and functional testing Tracking, documenting, and reporting defects using industry-standard defect tracking systems Collaborating with developers, DevOps engineers, and project managers to ensure timely resolution of issues Conducting rigorous testing across multiple environments to support release cycles and ensure system stability #LI-SF1 Requirements Experience in software quality assurance, with experience on Salesforce applications a plus Proficiency in testing tools and automation frameworks Experience with defect tracking systems such as Jira Strong understanding of Software-as-a-Service architecture, metadata, and deployment processes Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills Ability to work in a secure, fast-paced, and collaborative environment Desired Skills Experience in testing DoD or federal government platforms Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Platform App Builder, or QA-focused credentials), a plus Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices Eight plus years preferred Clearance InformationSRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AND ELIGIBILITY FOR A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL Travel Requirements None About UsScientific Research Corporation is an advanced information technology and engineering company that provides innovative products and services to government and private industry, as well as independent institutions.
