We provide cutting-edge wireless technology, intuitive software, and plug-and-play hardware solutions, setting a new industry standard.Position OverviewNext Meters is seeking a detail-oriented, high-energy Supply Chain Analyst to help with the daily execution of our supply chain and materials operations. Reporting directly to the Director of Supply Chain (DOSC), the Analyst will be responsible for ensuring that the strategic vision set by leadership is translated into operational success. This role focuses on maintaining the integrity of our manufacturing plans, managing vendor communications, and overseeing the data accuracy of our ERP and product management systems. The Supply Chain Analyst serves as a critical bridge between Engineering, R&D, and our manufacturing partners to ensure a resilient and efficient pipeline of material.Key ResponsibilitiesManufacturing & MRP ManagementManufacturing Plan Execution: Reconcile quantities with physical inventory at manufacturing sites.MRP Maintenance: Update weekly Demand and Burndown forecasts to ensure current data and maintain at least three months of finished goods inventory and a six-month forward pipeline of material coverage.Procurement: Execute purchase orders with vendors based on MRP reviews to maintain required inventory levels.Reporting: Prepare and distribute weekly inventory reports to align the Tampa and Providence teams on supply chain activity, sales rates, and engineering changes.Systems &Data Integrity (NetSuite & UDA)Component Data Management: Maintain accurate component data in UDA, including part numbers, technical specifications (in coordination with Engineering), and lifecycle status (Production, Prototype, or EOL).BOM Administration: Enter all new and revised Bills of Materials (BOMs) into NetSuite, ensuring they align perfectly with the "In Production" versions in UDA to prevent inventory deduction errors.Transaction Management: Oversee item transfers and purchase order receiving across all NetSuite locations, including Raw Materials In-Transit, Cape, and BMM warehouses.Open PO Oversight: Review and maintain the Open PO Report weekly to update delivery dates and maintain reliable pipeline visibility for MRP outputs.Vendor & Manufacturing Partner CoordinationCost Management: Support semiannual quoting processes to ensure competitive raw material pricing and identify long-lead components early to support proactive planning.R&D Support & LogisticsPrototype Development: Collaborate with Engineering to develop initial prototype BOMs, track supplier lead times, and generate initial costed BOMs to support strategic purchasing decisions.Logistics Management: Create and track shipments between suppliers, vendors, manufacturing partners, and internal facilities in Tampa and Providence.Internal Support: Coordinate engineering-related inbound packages and support internal shipment requests for Next Meters employees.Qualifications & ExperienceExperience and Education3-5+ years of experience in supply chain management or materials management within a manufacturing environment.Strong proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and product data management software (UDA).Proven experience in managing Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP).B.S. in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience) preferred.Certification in supply chain management (APICS) or experience with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies is preferred.Technical & Leadership CapabilitiesExpertise in inventory reconciliation, logistics coordination, and vendor communication.Ability to support the Director of Supply Chain in implementing transformative initiatives while maintaining focus on daily tactical execution.Strong analytical skills with the ability to research and investigate supply chain re ValuesAt Next Meters, our work is guided by these six core principles:Beautifully Simple: Designing intuitive, user-friendly solutions that make submetering easy to understand and install.Affordable Quality: Delivering robust, high-value products that maximize investment without compromising reliability.Effortless Integration: Creating plug-and-play hardware and software that works seamlessly with new and existing metering ntinuous Innovation: Refusing to settle for "good enough" and constantly revolutionizing how resources are measured and managed.Unparalleled Service: Going above and beyond to troubleshoot issues and support customers with empathy and expertise.Reaching for the Stars: Setting ambitious goals for growth and sustainability to drive meaningful impact in our communities.Attitude & CultureThe ideal candidate will embody Next Meters's culture, demonstrating:Continuous Learning Mentality: Committed to expanding knowledge and staying ahead of industry trends.Performance Focus: Driven by results and accountable for maintaining the production pipeline.Team Player: Collaborative and supportive of colleagues, particularly in cross-functional R&D efforts.Self-Reliance: Able to manage a high volume of supplier communications and research tasks independently.Honesty and Integrity: Maintains the highest standards of honesty and ethical behavior.Work-Life Balance: Committed to maintaining a healthy equilibrium between professional and personal life.Employee Value PropositionNext Meters is dedicated to building a talented and passionate team that is revolutionizing the utility submetering market.
