What You Will Do: As an RN in our Emergency Department Night Shift, you will deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and pediatric patients, including trauma cases and complex emergencies. You will perform comprehensive assessments, coordinate care, and educate patients in a supportive environment. Quick thinking, professionalism, and compassionate service are essential to succeed in this role. Required Skills: Current New York State Nursing License BLS Certification (ability to recertify) Minimum of 1.5 years recent experience in an acute care facility of similar size and trauma level within the past two years Experience with adult and pediatric patient populations Preferred experience with Level 1 or 2 trauma centers and EPIC electronic medical records Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Successful passing of pre-employment health clearance, drug screening, and criminal background checks Nice to Have Skills: Prior experience working night shifts in emergency services Additional certifications such as Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Familiarity with hospital EMR systems beyond EPIC Preferred Education and Experience: Active nursing license in New York State At least 1.5 years recent experience in a comparable hospital or trauma center setting Other Requirements: Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. Ability to work 12-hour night shifts from 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM, including every other weekend and some holidays Must possess excellent clinical skills, judgment, and professionalism Starting pay rate of $66.99/hour, with weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits (W-2), referral bonuses, and additional reimbursements such as licensure, certifications, travel, and more.
