Recruiter The Recruiter is responsible for supporting GRAND Mental Health's mission by leading full-cycle recruitment efforts across the organization, with an emphasis on sourcing and hiring for hard-to-fill and high-priority behavioral health and medical roles. This position represents GRAND both internally and externally in matters relating to talent acquisition and workforce development. The Recruiter develops and executes strategic recruiting initiatives, builds strong community partnerships, manages job postings and applicant pipelines, and ensures an outstanding candidate experience from first contact through onboarding. Experience recruiting in medical or mental health settings is strongly preferred. EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred. 3-5 years of experience in recruiting required. Experience recruiting in behavioral health, medical, and multi-site healthcare organizations preferred. Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) required. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus. HR certifications (PHR, SHRM-CP, etc.) are a bonus. Ability and willingness to travel as needed. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Knowledge of behavioral health and medical staffing models (licensed clinicians, RNs, mid-level providers, direct care staff, etc.) Familiarity with healthcare recruiting best practices, workforce trends, and talent shortages in behavioral health Ability to recruit in competitive, hard-to-fill behavioral health markets Knowledge of sourcing strategies including passive candidate outreach, networking, and pipeline development Full-cycle recruiting expertise (sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, onboarding coordination) Strong interpersonal and communication skills, relationship-building and stakeholder management skills Excellent organizational abilities, attention to detail, written and verbal communication skills. Strong organization and prioritization skills in a high-volume, fast-paced environment Ability to maintain professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information Ability to manage multiple requisitions with competing priorities Proficiency in Microsoft Office and recruiting platforms. Ability to partner effectively with clinical leadership, operations, HR, and executive teams Strategic sourcing skills using LinkedIn, job boards, professional associations, referrals, and community partnerships Behavioral-based interviewing and candidate assessment skills Familiarity with rural or underserved healthcare recruitment challenges Data-driven decision-making using recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, quality-of-hire, pipeline health) Offer negotiation and closing skills Ability to represent the agency's values and culture authentically to candidates Ability to proactively identify process improvements and enhance candidate experience Ability to travel as needed for career fairs, hiring events, etc. This role should have an expectation of core competencies in relation to individuals with co-occurring disorders. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage full-cycle recruiting processes for assigned roles. Partner closely with clinical and operational leaders to assess and align workforce needs, staffing models, and hiring priorities. Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates in competitive healthcare markets. Build and maintain strong talent pipelines through networking, referrals, professional associations, job boards, and community partnerships. Represent and promote GRAND's employer brand through career fairs, outreach events, community engagement, and compelling job marketing strategies. Conduct structured phone screens and interviews to assess qualifications, licensure requirements, cultural fit, and mission and values alignment. Ensure transparent, timely communication and intentionally cultivate a positive, engaging candidate experience that builds trust, strengthens GRAND's employer brand, and supports long-term retention. Maintain accurate ATS data and monitor recruiting metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, pipeline health, candidate flow) to provide data-driven insights to leadership. Ensure recruitment practices comply with applicable employment laws, licensure requirements, and organizational policies, mitigating risk and promoting equitable hiring. Partner with hiring leaders and Talent Acquisition to facilitate seamless onboarding transitions, ensuring new hires are positioned for early success and engagement. Contribute to HR initiatives and continuous process improvement efforts, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, candidate quality, and stakeholder experience. Perform other responsibilities as assigned. Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
