The program works closely with local homeless shelters and advocates to provide running and walking mentorship, fostering inclusivity and support. Board members play a crucial role in the general oversight of the program, assisting in the organization of fundraisers, and offering guidance based on their unique skills and expertise. The current focus for the board is on strategic planning, with an emphasis on branding, marketing, volunteer recruitment and retention, and program growth. We encourage individuals with personal or professional experience in areas such as homelessness, incarceration, military service, and addiction to apply, as well as those with a passion for the mission and a willingness to learn. The ideal candidates will be able to contribute to the board's goals for 2026 and help ensure the program's continued success. A specific skill set that the board is looking to add is the ability to create content through video production.
