Job Description

What you'll do... Manage end-to-end recruiting for a high-volume manufacturing operation - recruiting for an array of positions ranging from hourly production operators, warehousing, skilled trades and maintenance, with occasional salaried openings. Partner with HR and department leaders to understand staffing priorities, clarify job requirements, and align hiring efforts with business goals. Source, screen, and interview candidates through a mix of job boards, community engagement, referrals, and direct outreach. Build strong relationships with supervisors and managers to ensure timely feedback and consistent communication throughout the hiring process. Track recruiting activity and performance metrics in Excel, maintaining organized, accurate records and clear visibility into weekly results. Bring initiative and urgency to every search - proactively identifying bottlenecks, following up without being prompted, and driving outcomes. Help refine internal recruiting processes and tools to improve efficiency and standardization as the company continues to grow. Represent the organization professionally in all candidate and community interactions, supporting job fairs, outreach events, and workforce development initiatives. What we're looking for... 3+ years of recruiting experience in manufacturing or other high-volume industrial environments. Background in agency, contract, or internal plant recruiting with a strong focus on metrics, activity tracking, and deliverables. Proven ability to manage multiple openings and shift priorities while maintaining attention to detail. Highly organized and KPI-driven, capable of tracking and reporting progress on multiple hiring needs at a time. Strong communication, follow-up, and relationship-building skills across all levels of the organization. Proactive, self-directed, and eager to learn the operation; willing to walk the floor, understand the work, and engage directly with supervisors and staff. Proficiency with major job boards and recruiting platforms (Indeed, ZipRecruiter, LinkedIn, etc.). Why this role matters... This is an opportunity to step into a fast-paced manufacturing environment where recruiting will play a critical role in supporting the company's growth and expansion in the new year. You'll play a direct role in building the workforce that drives production, quality, and growth, while shaping structure and process in an evolving HR team. For the right person, this 6-month contract offers both meaningful impact and a clear path toward a potential full-time role. If you're motivated by results, enjoy taking ownership, and thrive in hands-on, high-volume recruiting, this is your chance to make an immediate difference.
