Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Nights - 3 days Start Date: ASAP About the Position AlliedTravelCareers is working with Windsor Healthcare Recruitment Group, Inc. to find a qualified Ultrasound in Weirton, West Virginia, 26062! 50 mile radius rule - ALL SUBMISSIONS MUST INCLUDE A COPY OF CANDIDATE'S UNEXPIRED DRIVER'S LICENSE - General Certification Requirements (BLS, etc.): BLS, WV License WV CARES REQUIRED PRIOR TO START OB and Arterial Extremity doppler experience required - Certs/ARRT & other specialty certification requirements: ARDMS and/or RVT (See General Radiology Cert Overview Below) - How many scanners/rooms does this department have?: 3 US - Will they have to float/cover any other areas?: No - Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties: General US, OB, small parts, Vascular US (upper & lower venous & arterial) - Experience or 'Must have' skills: "Must be able to multitask and work in a fast paced environment - Will accept first time travelers " - Average # of scans/studies per day: 35/day 24 hours - What EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they use?: EMR-Community Works PACS-Intellirad/Intelliconnect - Department Specific Equipment (GE, Phillips, Siemens): Siemens S2000 - Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech?: Imaging Director and Manager M-F Daylight and always available via telephone - Do they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants)?: No - Radiologist in-house 24/7? Yes until 5pm, then on call, Vrad covers interpreting 2a-6a - Do they have to start IV's? (if applicable to the department): Yes - Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?): "Staff works 2,2,3 shift between 2 teams, 12 hr Shifts, Shifts 6-6, 7-7, 8-8" -Would they ever be the only tech in-house within their department?- Weekend Requirements: EOW - =Holiday Requirements: May be asked to go into the Holiday Rotation - Call or Standby requirement?
