Car Wash Attendant

The Car Wash Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while ensuring vehicles are properly prepared, guided, and processed safely through the tunnel wash system. This role includes greeting customers, explaining wash options, operating wash controls, preparing vehicles for entry, maintaining cleanliness of the wash area, and ensuring equipment functions properly. The attendant monitors vehicles during the wash cycle, assists with any issues, and maintains a safe and organized work environment. Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this position. Explain available wash options, upgrades, and pricing. Prepare vehicles for the tunnel, including checking for loose items, folding mirrors, and removing obstacles. Operate car wash equipment and controls safely according to company procedures. Monitor vehicles throughout the wash process and address any issues immediately. Maintain cleanliness of the wash area, lobby, and vacuum stations. Perform basic maintenance checks on equipment and report malfunctions to management. Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times to prevent accidents or damage to vehicles. Assist with upselling additional services, such as interior cleaning, wax, or tire shine. Handle cash or point-of-sale transactions accurately, if applicable. High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required. Prior customer service experience preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment. Strong attention to detail and safety awareness. Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn equipment operation. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
