As a Registered Nurse (RN) working in our outpatient Infusion Centers, you will provide holistic, high-quality nursing care to patients and their families. Your responsibilities will include: Conducting thorough patient assessments and delivering effective symptom management and education. Administering chemotherapy/biotherapy, infusions, injections, and transfusions safely. Collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care across all treatment stages and follow-up. Scheduling and coordinating patient infusion visits in partnership with provider offices. Triage patients using established pathways, working closely with physicians for symptom management and referrals. Managing a caseload of patients receiving diverse infusion and oral therapies in an outpatient setting. Communicating effectively with various audiences to achieve positive outcomes. Engaging in continuous professional development, focusing on safety, and enhancing the patient experience. Implementing clinical support programs that optimize care throughout the healthcare continuum. Qualifications: Minimum Requirements: Current Connecticut RN License Current OCN Chemotherapy/Biotherapy card (or to be obtained within the first month of hire) Education: BSN strongly preferred Experience: Two (2) years of previous Oncology Nursing experience strongly preferred We pride ourselves on investing in our employees' careers.
