Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Correctional Profession: Registered Nurse Location - Attica, NY Specialty: Correctional Shift: Day - 5x8-Hour (06:00 - 14:00) Duration: 13 Weeks Position Overview Provide direct nursing care within a correctional setting. Conduct comprehensive health assessments. Prepare, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans. Diagnose and treat patient responses to actual or potential health problems. Deliver nursing services including case-finding, health teaching, and counseling. Provide care supportive to or restorative of life and well-being. Execute medical regimens prescribed by licensed healthcare providers. Serve on interdisciplinary healthcare teams and health-related committees. Key Responsibilities Coordinate, direct, and provide nursing care to patients. Administer treatments and perform nursing procedures within established guidelines. Consult with treatment teams and other disciplines regarding nursing matters. Provide clinical supervision and training to licensed and unlicensed staff. Oversee preparation, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care plans. Ensure delivery of high-quality, standards-based patient care.
