Job Summary: Join our dynamic team as a Senior Principal Applied Scientist specializing in Cloud Optimization through machine learning and AI techniques. Key Responsibilities: Drive the development of advanced AI systems by spearheading projects focused on Context Aware Agents, Action Agents, and Reasoning Agents, including Multi-Agent Orchestration. This pivotal role encompasses strategic planning and execution while maintaining hands-on involvement in coding, testing, and production. Lead the design and optimization of machine learning models aimed at time series analysis and anomaly detection, ensuring accuracy and performance that meet business objectives. Utilize diverse machine learning and data mining techniques to deliver actionable insights for effective Cloud Capacity Management and Cost Optimization. Exhibit proactive leadership, fostering innovation while collaborating effectively to implement machine learning and AI solutions. Mentor fellow Applied Scientists and Engineers, promoting best practices in model development and AI frameworks. Work collaboratively with data engineers to seamlessly integrate models into production and enhance MLOps and AIOps processes. Engage with business teams to identify requirements and provide cutting-edge data-driven insights and AI solutions. Analyze and address business challenges using statistical and data science methodologies, translating findings into actionable insights for leadership. Become an expert in data analysis and visualization tools, effectively communicating insights through dashboards. Document all phases of AI development, from initial business problems to design and impact of results. Manage AI projects with a focused approach on timely delivery and continuous improvement within a Scrum framework. Qualifications: 6-10+ years of experience in machine learning, AI, and development in expansive industry cloud environments. Advanced degree (Ph.D. or Master's) in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, or related fields. Proficient in SQL, Python, application development, reporting tools, and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow. Demonstrated experience with time-series analysis, forecasting, and model optimization. Hands-on experience with AI agent frameworks, especially OCI Generative AI Agents, is a valuable asset. Familiarity with Oracle cloud products including Oracle Autonomous Database and Oracle Analytics Cloud is preferred. Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) and deploying AI models in cloud settings. Strong problem-solving skills and experience in troubleshooting and optimizing machine learning models. Excellent communication and leadership skills with an ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Adaptability in a fast-paced environment with a commitment to continuous learning and exploration of new technologies.
