Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

Facility: This medical center is a well-established healthcare facility that provides comprehensive women's health services to the community. The facility operates as a Level 1 trauma center with full support staff, specialized delivery teams, and utilizes EPIC charting system. The collaborative care model includes midwives (CNM), OB/GYN physicians, and MFM specialists working together to provide optimal patient care. Opportunity: Physician - Obstetrics and Gynecology Job Details: • Provide 24-hour call coverage from 7a-7a with up to 4 hours daily rounding • On-call physician not required to be on-site unless specifically called to hospital • Respond to calls for patients with prior cesarean attempting vaginal delivery • Round on cesarean patients and antepartum patients when MFM not available • Respond to calls from midwives, emergency department, or consulting physicians • Handle maternal transports from outside facilities • Average on-site time generally does not exceed 6 hours per call • Perform circumcisions and tubal ligations • Conduct C-section deliveries and operative vaginal deliveries • Provide comprehensive OB/GYN surgical procedures • Manage both inpatient and outpatient cases across all age groups • Board certification required with ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications • Must hold Pennsylvania medical license or IMLC • 14-day credentialing timeframe • Lodging arrangements made by facility • Access to Latrobe or Pittsburgh airports Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
