Locum Tenens Physician - Surgery - General Position Type: Locum Tenens Specialty: Physician - Surgery - General Location: Pendleton, OR. Shift: Monday Friday clinic and OR coverage with 24-hour call; 5:30am 5:30am call shifts Position Details: Patient Population: General surgery patients (acute and elective) Setting: Acute care hospital and clinic practice Responsibilities: Clinic patient care; perform general surgical procedures; provide 24-hour call coverage; emergency surgery and trauma response; post-operative care; consultations; inpatient and outpatient management; collaborate with hospital care team Required Procedures: Diagnostic colonoscopies, screening colonoscopies, cholecystectomy, hernia repair with mesh, diagnostic EGD, breast excision, abdominal wall repair, appendectomy, skin excision, hemorrhoidectomy EMR System: Meditech (hospital) and eCW (clinic) Support Staff: Full hospital staff, medical assistants, and RN support in clinic Days Per Month: Approximately 20 days/month On-Call/Weekends: Yes 24/7 call while on assignment including weekends Submission Requirements: Board Certified Active Oregon License (or already in process for May/June start) Residency/Fellowship training required ACLS, BLS, DEA required Clean malpractice history (highly preferred) NPDB Self-Query report within 30 days Join us today!
