Industrial Maintenance TechnicianJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team on the 2nd shift, Monday through Friday from 1:45 PM to 9:45 PM, with the flexibility to work two Saturdays a month. The role involves responding promptly to equipment breakdowns and performing corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.Responsibilities Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and perform corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using appropriate tools and techniques. Repair or replace defective components, including motors, gearboxes, sensors, and control systems. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify root causes and implement long-term solutions. Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and downtime. Perform preventive maintenance tasks as needed to support overall equipment reliability. Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all maintenance activities. Essential Skills 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience. Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems. Knowledge of preventive maintenance, industrial repair, and service. Experience with motors, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLC control systems. Familiarity with electrical troubleshooting, 3-phase systems, and electrical maintenance. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree preferred. 2+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or breakdown troubleshooting. Familiarity with PLCs, conveyors, pumps, and industrial machinery. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
