2nd Shift Yard Driver - Non CDL

Job Summary: The non-CDL driver is responsible for spotting trailers, processing inbound and outbound orders, and movement of trailers. The person must also possess a great deal of flexibility in their ability to multi-task and maintain a positive, team attitude. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers. Provide directions for all inbound and outbound loads. Responsible for moving trailer onsite and offsite within Vertical's yard. Perform yard checks and keep yard clean. Interact with truck drivers and customers. Provide superior customer service. Perform all tasks assigned by the supervisor, while following all company, safety, and quality policies and procedures. Maintain regular attendance at work. Other duties to be assigned as business necessitates. Job Qualifications - Education and Experience: Prior production experience is desired. Non-CDL license required (Driver License). Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and incoming and outgoing load documents. Physical Requirements: Regularly stand and walk for 8 or more hours a day. Effectively handle lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 60 pounds frequently. Frequently required to bend, twist, use hands to finger, handle, control and climb or balance, reach with hands and arms. Vertical Cold Storage is an EOE/M/F/D/V Drug Free Workplace
