AP Specialist

Soni is partnering with a client to identify a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support day-to-day financial operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with invoices, collaborating with vendors, and contributing to a positive, team-focused accounting environment. The Accounts Payable Specialist will support accurate and timely processing of vendor payments while helping maintain clean financial records. This position requires strong organizational skills, a sharp eye for accuracy, and a proactive approach to resolving issues. Key Responsibilities Review, validate, and process incoming vendor invoices Code transactions accurately and ensure proper documentation Communicate payment status and resolve questions with vendors Monitor and manage shared AP inboxes and correspondence Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, credits, and returns Prepare scheduled check runs by aligning invoices with approvals and payment activity Reconcile assigned ledger accounts and support month-end close activities Maintain records and assist with routine administrative tasks as needed Take on additional accounting support duties based on business needs Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred Prior experience working in accounts payable and within an accounting team Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals, including reconciliations and journal activity Comfortable working with spreadsheets and basic Excel functions Highly organized with strong attention to detail Compensation: $55,000 Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications. #SONITN
