As Florida's capital city and home to Florida State University, Tallahassee boasts an abundance of dining, shopping, cultural and sporting opportunities as well as ample opportunities for outdoor recreation and easy access to Florida's famous beaches and state parks. Lead inpatient psychiatric services while supervising a multidisciplinary team composed of Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners and Mental Health Professionals in a provider friendly environment where clinical care is prioritized. This is one of the most diverse and innovative male institutions in the US. Provide inpatient or outpatient services within this state-of-the-art male correctional institution. Utilize some of the most innovative programing and use of specialized Residential Mental Health Units to assist those with serious mental illness. The Psychiatrist provides psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients, works under the supervision of the Psychiatric Medical Director, and provides clinical leadership for a multi-disciplinary team in providing behavioral health services to patients with psychiatric disorders or other mental health issues.
