Surgical Services Registered Nurse You work under the direction of the Director of Surgery, the Surgical Services RN is accountable for planning, delegating, and coordinating nursing care for assigned patients, utilizing the nursing process. The RN is responsible for upholding standards of care and practice, as well as assisting in the management of department staff including LPNs, ORTs/CSTs, Nursing Assistants, and others.
