Registered Nurse St. Mary Medical Center, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is looking for a Registered Nurse to join our team! Schedule: Pool Tier II, Night Shift 7pm-7:30am Tier II Requirements: 72 hour minimum commitment per 6 week schedule, 3 weekend shifts per 6 week schedule, 1 Winter Holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's), 1 Spring/Summer Holiday (Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day) The primary objective of this position is to improve quality. Responsible for the direct and/or indirect care of patients assigned utilizing professional nursing skills and knowledge. Responsibilities: Assess learning needs, readiness to learn and identify actual or potential barriers to learning and thereby incorporating the patient's education into daily activities based on age, cultural and spiritual values. Document admission assessment / reassessment, plan, interventions and medication use and monitor its effects and outcomes according to policy. Utilize the information management system to enhance communication and document change in-patients condition to all appropriate individuals. Prioritize work assignment based on changing situations. Communicate transfer of patient responsibility and pertinent information at the bedside and during Interprofessional Rounds Recognize and integrate patient special needs and individualize care and knowledgeable in abuse recognition and referral Adhere to infection control standards specific to patient care and by promotes and maintains a safe, clean and orderly environment. Perform other duties as assigned.
