Traveler Hrly Rate $38.07Gross Wages $1,370.52Traveler Lodging $770.00Travel M&I $476.00Total Travel Stipend $1,246.00Total Travel Pkg $2,616.52 Shift: Day shift 8,13 & 26 week contracts available Specialty: Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) Requirements: Active CA State Registered Nurse License Valid BLS Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing Additional certifications may be required Acute Care Charge Nurse reports to the Acute Care Nursing Manager and ensures the delivery of professional care to the assigned patient population. The Charge Nurse utilizes the nursing process and continuous quality improvement principles while collaborating with the healthcare team. The Charge Nurse is responsible for supervising all department staff, assigning duties, and ensuring work meets standards for accuracy, organization, and policy compliance, overseeing the department's daily operations, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations, providing backup support to the Emergency Department (ED) as needed, and ensuring the highest level of patient care is maintained at all times.
